What is Anger?
Anger is often defined as an emotional response to a perceived threat, injustice, or frustration. It can raise its ugly head in different ways, ranging from mild irritation to destructive intense rage. Irritation can build to frustration, can build to resentment, can build to anger. From anger emotions may build to retaliation, revenge and hatred. Emotions that escalate to this level can cause havoc in lives and distruction in ways that most people regret.
Can anger be positive? Cautiously, perhaps it could be considered as being positive when it serves as motivator for change, a signal for self-protection, to stand up for yourself, or a response to perceived threats or injustices.
What triggers Anger?
Anger can be triggered by an array of facets, including:
- Frustration: perceived blockages to achieve a target or goal often lead to irritation and anger.
- Injustice: Perceptions of unfair treatment or being a victim of abuse, harassment, bullying can ignite emotional responses including anger.
- Confrontations: Negative interactions with others, including: criticisms or humiliation can provoke defensive anger.
- Stress: Accumulated stress can lower tolerance levels and have people running on an empty tank, making individuals more prone to anger.
- Cognitive processing: Cognitive distortions, such as catastrophizing or black-and-white thinking, can enhance feelings of anger.
The Impact of Unresolved Anger
Unresolved anger can have detrimental effects on an individual’s physical and mental health.
When a person experiences anger, the body undergoes physiological changes. Science indicates that the autonomic nervous system is activated, which may lead to an increased heart rate, this can lead to high blood pressure, and higher adrenaline levels. Ultimately this may link to having high blood pressure on an ongoing basis, otherwise known as Hypertension. This could also link to other adverse medical conditions.
Along with the physiological responses, a “fight or flight” response dating back to prehistoric wo/man times, prepares the body to confront or escape from the perceived threat. While these responses can be beneficial and scientists believe in acute situations, chronic anger can lead to health issues, including hypertension, cardiovascular disease and weakened immune function.
Chronic anger is linked to anxiety, depression, and various stress-related disorders.
Additionally, unresolved ongoing anger may lead to problems in personal relationships, as unexpressed anger may result in passive-aggressive behaviors or emotional distance. This also impacts social unrest and conflict.

How does Pranic Healing work?
Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life force and is derived from the ground, the air and the sun, along with divine healing energies. Prana is energy and is needed to keep the body functioning healthily, we need energy to live.
Pranic Healing works by extracting negative energies from the energy body, any blockages from the energy body. The energy body acts a blueprint to the physical body, by healing the energy body, the physical body heals. Pranic Healing helps to balance the body and the flow of energy. Pranic Healing is different to other energy healing techniques as it works by removing the negative energies and then allows for new fresh energy to come in and heal the body. Pranic Healing was created by Master Choa Kok Sui who was a chemical engineer and he worked with clairvoyants to create protocols to heal each health issue, physical, emotional or mental.
